Yay! I finally found some time to play around with my new goodies from Close To My Heart. I decided to make a set of cards in a gift box. I had quite a few of these sets on my Etsy site but they seem to have all sold. This was a quick project from start to finish as the paper collection made it so easy to whip together 6 cards with envelopes.
Here is the box that I put together to house the cards. The paper collection that I used is Skylark from Close To My Heart. I used some roses and trims from my stash, although I'm fairly certain that the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The cards are all thank you cards for this particular project. I must admit that these cards were a lot more CAS (clean and simple) than what I usually do but I had to make them as flat as I could to fit them in the box.
The box was made using a template from Gina K. She had originally designed the box to hold photographs so they would be easy to organize. I love using this template to hold cards because the size is perfect for A2 cards. Here is the link for Parts 1 and 2 of Gina K's videos showing how to make the box.
