Christmas Cards for 2013

It's been non stop card making here as I got our Christmas cards made along with my usual batch of birthday cards for a 2 month time period as well as any cards that were ordered and projects for the Design Team that I'm on at Lia Stampz. I seemed to really zoom in on snowman images this year for my cards. I used several different sets as well as digi images.
Here are some closer shots of the cards.

Challenge #55 themed Make a Tag at Liz Stampz

For my DT project at Lia Stampz I needed to come up with a tag. I used the "New Snowman" digi because I thought they were just adorable! This challenge runs until December 31st so you still have plenty of time to enter. Whimsy Stamps
Print several digital images. I did 8 and used 6 but was glad that I had the extra 2 in case!
Colour the images with whatever you wish. It could be pencil crayons, watercolours, pencil, etc. I used Copic Markers. Colour all of the images the same.
Cut apart trying to leave even spacing between the images.
Check to make sure that the die that you want to use will fit the image properly.
Cut the 6 images out one by one and then position them one on top of another so that the image lines up. You've got a telescopic tag. Now time to embellish.

My First Mini Album

A special friend of mine shares old pictures of her mother and father quite often on Facebook. Her mother has passed but her father is still living and my friend speaks so lovingly of both of them that you just know what wonderful parents she had/has. She's always helping me with all things computer including this blog so I wanted to make a special little something for her. I decided to try making a mini album so that she can put some of her favourite pictures of her parents into one special place. Here are some photos showing the pages with all of the pockets and compartments. The majority of the papers used for this project were from DCWV along with various Graphic 45 collections. Flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts and Petaloo as well as Recollections. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out and my friend liked it. We always say that the pictures she shares look like 'movie star' pictures and so I've added a nod towards that with the mini roll of film on the front cover. As usual, comments and questions are always welcome. Thanks for looking!
