Challenge #59 at Lia Stampz themed "Add a Heart"

Just a quick short post today.  Here's my Design Team project for Challenge #59 at Lia Stampz.  The theme was to "Add a Heart."  I chose the digi called "Valentine Girl" and it can be found here at Whimsy Stamps.  I basically used items from my stash because I desperately need to address that. The piles are taking over!  LOL  So this year my resolution (one of them) is to get my stash used up, totally!  I've got so much going on this week that I just wanted to pop on here quickly and get my project posted.  If you're interested in joining us here is the link.

Big Congrats Stamp Set

Here's a card that I made today.  It's using Inspired by Stamping's "Big Congrats" stamp for both the outside and inside sentiment.  I love these stamps because they are a nice big bold font.  Really pops on the card to see the big Congratulations.  The blue roses and blue blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The pale yellow roses are from Recollections.  The ribbon and paper are both from my stash.  The stamp set is only $5.00!  It includes the large Congratulations and then has the following that you can use with it; "on your new home", "on your new job", "on your new baby", "graduate" and "on your engagement."  I don't work for this company, have no special interest in this company but I do want to say what a value that is.  $5.00 and you get all those sayings.  I bought one other stamp set and will make some cards using those and post later.  This stamp set can be found Inspired by Stamping Big Congrats Stamp Set

I am uploading this card to the Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery

WhooHoo!  Today is my birthday.  I am turning 53!  I won't mind at all if you would like to leave a Happy Birthday wish!

Just as an addition, this card was featured on the Inspired by Stamping blog here

These new images were a lot of fun to work with.  I decided to make 2 cards because after I made one, well I couldn't stop!  LOL

Both images were coloured with Copic markers.  As you can see I made the most of the diecuts I made.  I had embossed white cardstock with the Swiss Dots folder and cut it out with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty Three.  I used the negative on one card and the positive on the other.  (One of my resolutions for this year is to try and NOT add anything else to my ever growing scrap pile!)  Don't forget to leave a comment as there will be 4 Mystery DT Members who will each be choosing a winner!  You never know where your name will be chosen from!  Good Luck.

Oh Baby!

I've been on a bit of a baby card making kick lately as you'll see by how many of the following cards are baby related. I've used a combination of paper collections from Graphic 45 and mixed them together on some of my cards. I've had Secret Garden and Sweet Darlings for sometime but haven't had a chance to do anything with them until now. Baby cards are one of my favourites to make along with really pretty shabby chic cards. Anyway enough rambling here are the cards. As always your comments are welcome!

Challenge #58 at Lia Stampz with the colour theme of red, pink and white.

Come visit us at Lia Stampz and join the challenge. I've used an image that is called "My Valentine" which is brand new and available now at Whimsy Stamps
It was a fun image to colour and the card was made up entirely from my stash. Love when I can do that! I'm in the process of reorganizing my craft room. Hubby built me some shelving so everything is being hauled out and rearranged. It's a huge job because there is so much in here but once it's done it will be worth it. I do have a lot and I mean a lot of scraps so hopefully once the room is done I can do lots more projects where I can use them up. I will take pictures and post them once it's looking decent. I also thought I might try and do a YouTube video showing the room. I am painfully shy when it comes to cameras and videos so this would be a huge step for me. We'll see! LOL
