My Very First Card....Ever!

I was hunting through an old box of pictures and various other memorabilia waiting to be scrapbooked. (It's a huge Rubbermaid tub so I will be busy for the rest of my days! LOL) Anyway I came across this little, badly folded, slip of paper made into a card. Now I honestly don't remember making it or anything but when I look at it, to me it looks like a baby carriage. This would make sense because at the time that I would've made this, my mother would've been expecting my ...brother. (I would've been 5 1/2.) So I was able to draw a little, put my name on the front (yes my secret is out; my name is actually Marianna but if anyone calls me that, well there's no telling what I might do. LOL) and obviously I needed help with the greeting inside which my father wrote out. (It says; I like you Mommy) So for any of that that are familiar with my cards, I thought you might like a peak at my very first card ever made.

No fancy papers, die cuts, stickers or other embellishments.  Just paper and crayons folks!  What have you got in your stash that takes you on a trip down 'Memory Lane'?

Top 10 at DCWV in February

I don't know how I forgot to post this but I did. I entered both the card challenge as well as the layout challenge in February with DCWV.  I managed to make Top 10 for both!  Doing the happy dance about that.  I am really enjoying entering these challenges every month and of course the enjoyment grows when I make Top 10.

As always comments are welcome!

Tags that say Spring!

My LSS (local scrapbooking store) has great classes going on all the time.  I wish I could take every single one of them.  Honestly, if I could, I would be in the store all the time trying out all of the cool techniques that they teach.  I love taking the tag classes that they have as well as some of the Graphic 45 classes.  The other day I took a tag class and this is what I made.  I thought they came out really nice and I'm proud of them.  I would love to incorporate the look into my cards.

Easter and Spring Cards

This is the latest batch of cards that I've made and taken into Sonya's, a local store here in Fort Erie.  Sales are going well but it has been a long hard winter and so traffic in the store has not been what it could've been.  The snow is starting to melt and we've had some pretty nice days so hopefully that will help with traffic.
