Oh Baby!

I've been on a bit of a baby card making kick lately as you'll see by how many of the following cards are baby related. I've used a combination of paper collections from Graphic 45 and mixed them together on some of my cards. I've had Secret Garden and Sweet Darlings for sometime but haven't had a chance to do anything with them until now. Baby cards are one of my favourites to make along with really pretty shabby chic cards. Anyway enough rambling here are the cards. As always your comments are welcome!

Challenge #58 at Lia Stampz with the colour theme of red, pink and white.

Come visit us at Lia Stampz and join the challenge. I've used an image that is called "My Valentine" which is brand new and available now at Whimsy Stamps
It was a fun image to colour and the card was made up entirely from my stash. Love when I can do that! I'm in the process of reorganizing my craft room. Hubby built me some shelving so everything is being hauled out and rearranged. It's a huge job because there is so much in here but once it's done it will be worth it. I do have a lot and I mean a lot of scraps so hopefully once the room is done I can do lots more projects where I can use them up. I will take pictures and post them once it's looking decent. I also thought I might try and do a YouTube video showing the room. I am painfully shy when it comes to cameras and videos so this would be a huge step for me. We'll see! LOL

Challenge #57 at Lia Stampz themed Color Scheme/Picture Inspiration

For this challenge we were given a picture with a color scheme as our theme. I decided to use the baby boy stamp from Lia Stampz for this challenge and found the colors to fit perfectly since they were blues, brown and white. Here is a picture of my card:
The challenge can be found here: Lia Stampz For this card I used Recollections cardstock in white, kraft and blue. I used a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles die. I used the Jumbo Marvy scalloped circle punch. A white gel pen was used around the scalloped circle. I used Copic markers for the image. The image is from Lia Stampz, is called "Baby Boy" and can be purchased at Whimsy Stamps. Here is the link;http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_41&products_id=2760 "Congrats" was stamped onto white paper with Sepia toned ink from Versafine. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The blue are EX-00042 and the taupe are CXN-003. The white leaves are also from Wild Orchid Crafts and their number is LL00034.

Challenge #56 themed Monochromatic for Lia Stampz

Our challenge at Lia Stampz was to make a card or other project that was monochromatic. The image that I used was called "Happy New Year." Wasn't that a great coincidence? LOL The digi is available here Whimsy Stamps If you would like to join our challenge, it runs until January 15th. Please come and join us! Lia Stampz
For this card I used; White cardstock from Gina K. Designs, red cardstock from Recollections, Digi image from Lia Stampz called "Happy New Year," Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Thirteen, Red Patterned Paper from Recollections "Bright and Jolly" paper pack, stickers from the Paper Studio and were modified from Happy Anniversary 50 Years stickers. "New" was written in with ultra fine Sharpie marker.
